The Moses Ludington Adult Care Facility, licensed by New York State is an Adult Home that provides long-term residential care that includes a room, all meals and snacks, housekeeping, laundry, 24-hour supervision, assistance with medications, personal care assistance, case management services, and a structured activity program. This environment promotes independence, while providing a safe and secure home-like atmosphere. Located on the main floor adjacent to the Moses Ludington Hospital, residents have convenient access to all hospital services, including the emergency room, radiology, lab services and out patient clinic services. The Inter-Lakes Health campus also features a salon, dental clinic, and outpatient physical and occupational therapy services.
The adult home has a comfortable sitting/living area, activities room, community dining room, and outdoor patio. Studios are spacious, feature great views of the Adirondacks; and all offer a private bathroom with or without a personal shower, (pricing varies). Each studio offers a personal call bell, and private phone and cable television is available. The Moses Ludington Adult Home bridges the gap between independent living and long-term skilled nursing care.
Funding for adult home care may be provided through a variety of sources including private funds, long-term care insurance, or Social Security Income (SSI) for those who qualify based on income and assets.
